The premise of The Listening Prayer Project is that prayer - like conversation - works best when we speak and listen. The entries in this Get Started section are meant to introduce the core concepts of listening prayer and help you begin (and hopefully continue!) your own listening prayer project.
Note: Sometimes an entry will reference one or more previous entries. For this reason, I recommend that you read them in their listed order. However, if there are certain topics that grab your attention, then consider starting with that entry and return to the beginning when you are ready. For example, if you are worried that God would never want to talk to you (for whatever reason), then you might want to read the “Believe It or Not” entry first. Or, if you are curious about how to hear God’s voice, then try the “How We Hear God” entry first.
